We are unable to help with seasonal work unless you are currently in New Zealand. If you chose to travel to New Zealand please look at the Immigation website www.immigration.govt.nz for information on your eligibilty to obtain a temporary entry/work visa.

Dec - Feb Cherries and other stonefruit harvests, packhouse positions, general vineyard positions (high demand for workers during January, low demand during February)
Mar - May Apple and grape harvest (medium demand)
June - Sep Winter pruning on both orchards and vineyards (very low demand, experience preferred)
Oct - Nov Orchard and vineyard thinning (low demand for workers)

Some Growers provide accommodation or have campsites. There can be limited spaces.

Most of the Orchards and Vineyards are situated out of town. Having your own transport is an advantage.

The minimum wage is $21.20, every Grower has different pay rates and you may be paid extra depending on bucket rates, piece rates or bonuses.
